The University of Cambodia is pleased to announce the launch of a new exciting club for students interested in journalism, writing, and design: The UC Yearbook Club (UCYC). The UCYC will open registration in Term 3 AY: 2014-2015; membership will begin Term 1 AY: 2015-2016, and will last for one full academic year.
UCYC members will work alongside UC staff and faculty members to write articles, collect student information and design the first ever UC Yearbook to be published at the end of Term 3 AY: 2015-2016. This is an excellent opportunity for students to increase their soft skills, to work with native English speakers and to contribute to the UC community by capturing memories and accomplishments of students and staff throughout the year.
UC encourages all interested students to register for the club by submitting a letter of intent to Ms. Samantha Smith, Advisor to the President, with their name, grade, major and reasons why they would like to join the club. Club elections will be held at the start of Term 1 to determine the leaders of the UCYC. Please note that all those who register will be allowed membership, and those elected will be appointed as projects leaders. Please submit your registration paperwork in hard copy to the Office of Administration or by email to Samantha@uc.edu.kh before the conclusion of Term 3 AY: 2014-2015
